Lemon Ginger Tonic

Servings: 1

1/2 lemon
1 tablespoon sliced ginger
2 tablespoons raw unfiltered honey
2 cinnamon sticks

Boil 16 to 24 ounces of water on high heat in a teakettle.

Meanwhile, squeeze the lemon juice into a large heatproof container like a glass jar, and put the entire half in the jar. Add the ginger, honey and cinnamon. When the water comes to a boil, pour it over the ingredients in the jar.

Stir well and let steep for 5 to 10 minutes, until cool enough to drink. Enjoy warm.
