Fri | 15 | University Orchestra Concert, Durgin Concert Hall, 8:00pm. Mark Latham conducts.
Fri | 15 | Choir Concert, St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, 8 Kirk St. Lowell, MA. 7:00pm. The UML Chamber Singers will perform a full-length concert in the historic sanctuary of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in downtown Lowell. The concert will also feature one of UML’s a cappella ensembles, Vocality, and the Nashua High School North Concert Choir. The UML Chamber Singers’ performance will include a wide variety of works ranging from Medieval and Renaissance eras through the present day. This concert is given as part of the UML Chamber Singers Outreach Series, in which the ensemble will hold workshops and present concerts in Foxboro, MA; Salem, NH; Lowell, MA; Winchester, MA; and Milford, MA in February and March 2019. Admission is free and open to the public!
Tue | 19 | Daniel Walzer Faculty Jazz Percussion Recital, Durgin Concert Hall, 8:00pm. Accompanying him will be Jacob Hiser on piano, Kane Hiser on acoustic and electric bass, and Aaron Fried on cello. The program will consist of a few original compositions along with some surprises. Admission is free and Walzer will have copies of his new album available for a donation.
