Shelter: The Art of Caring Exhibit
February 3 - February 28

Shelter: The Art of Caring is the latest a community exhibit hosted by the Arts League of Lowell to benefit the Lowell Transitional Living Center. The show sets out to embody the idea of shelter as more than a place: a feeling of warmth, comfort and safety.
This show is a citywide effort, with more than 30 participating artists who have addressed the theme through painting, collage, metalwork, photography, writing and poetry. Each artist has donated their work for sale, with one hundred percent of the proceeds going to the Lowell Transitional Living Center, a shelter for the unhoused on Merrimack St. The gallery will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. from Feb. 3, to Feb. 28.
