MMMH’s Summer Organ Recital Series

Methuen Memorial Music Hall, 192 Broadway (Route 28), continues its Wednesday Evening Organ Recital series this summer beginning May 22 nd, 2019. Hear young new artists, local talent, and world-renowned organists perform on the 1863, Great Organ, the first concert organ in the United States.
The Great Organ, originally built by Walker in Germany for the Boston Music Hall, contains over 6,000 pipes, ranging in size from 32 feet to ½ inch. Its relocation to Methuen in a purpose-built hall was made by the late Edward F. Searles. The structure and organ are listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
