Courageous Conversations: What Positive Justice Looks Like

April 14 @ 7:00 pm

  • « Sip, Sample & Support Emmaus Benefit
  • GLILA Conversation with Fania Davis »

The team at UTEC will join the Memorial Hall Library in Andover to discuss their nationally recognized model which begins with intensive street outreach, correctional facility in-reach, and gang peacemaking, engaging the most disconnected young adults by meeting them “where they’re at.” Their wraparound program is designed to never give up on young adults as they overcome personal, health, and institutional barriers to improving their lives. The team will also share some of the ways they are innovating with the state and the Department of Corrections to make real, meaningful changes at a systemic level and how you can support. This virtual event will happen via Zoom on Wednesday, April 14, at 7 p.m.
