Behind the Scenes: Lowell’s Smokestack Christmas Tree

What does it take to make a 256-foot Christmas tree? Well, 5,000+ lights, LOTS of ladders and some folks who clearly have no fear of heights.

MVM photographer Kevin Harkins spent a few days following the dedicated crew that sets up the Christmas tree smokestack at Wannalancit Mills in Lowell.
