Eight Great Things To Do This Weekend – 1/2/20
ONE: The Majestic Theatre will be presenting its first of four dinner theaters scheduled for their newest season from Jan. 3 to Jan. 5. “The Good Doctor,” a comedy and Broadway hit by Neil Simon, features a series of short plays based on stories and other works of Russian writer Anton Chekhov.
In one sketch, a feisty old woman storms a bank and upbraids the manager for his gout and lack of money. In another, a father takes his son to a house to initiate him into the mysteries of sex, only to relent at the last moment and leave the boy more perplexed than ever.
All the plays are wildly different and entertaining in their own ways. You don’t want to miss these showings at The Majestic Theatre.
