Eight Great Things To Do This Weekend – 11/7/19
ONE: On Nov. 9 and 10, visit Amesbury Open Studios And More! Enjoy a weekend filled with culture featuring about 70 artists displaying and selling their artwork. Visit their studios, learn about their process, and purchase one-of-a-kind items.
City Hall will be hosting the Art@CityHall exhibition “Transitions” in the front-hall gallery. In the main auditorium, there will be many artists set up with their finest works for sale, as well as demonstrations of painting on silk, spinning and weaving, and silk marbling. A giant raffle will feature prizes from local businesses and works from some of the featured artists! And to top it off, there will be live music by John Tavano both days.
The free trolley will take you to within walking distance of most of the studios. Between stops, take a load off your feet while a tour guide points out the many historic features of downtown Amesbury. And the trolley is heated and family friendly, too!
