ONE: Downtown Newburyport and The Tannery Marketplace will be celebrating Halloween early this year with their 2019 Downtown Trick or Treat event. Merchants of Newburyport are encouraging children and families to dress up and experience the downtown holiday festivities this Friday from 4 to 5 p.m.
TWO: After your spooky stroll through Newburyport’s Downtown Trick or Treat event, be sure to check out Firehouse Center for the Arts’s showing of Beetlejuice from 7 to 9 p.m. Tim Burton’s 1988 comedy “monsterpiece” is a great way to get in the holiday spirit!
THREE: Copper Door Restaurants in Bedford, N.H., and Salem, N.H., will be hosting their weeklong fundraiser benefiting FEEDNH.org “Wicked Scary Week” from Oct. 24 through 31. FOUR: From the bombastic and epic, to the folky and mystical, Get The Led Out have captured the essence of the recorded music of Led Zeppelin and brought it to the concert stage. SIX: Macbeth, a noble Scottish lord, is shown his future toward power by the three Weird Sisters. This 21+ event will take place on Saturday starting at 6:30 p.m.
Proceeds from ticket sales support the nonprofit Salisbury Beach Partnership and the free concerts, fireworks and festivals that happen all summer long at Salisbury Beach.
