Sculpting the Perfect You

All Care Laser Center Offers New Ways to Tone and Transform   (sponsored)

For many Americans, it can be difficult to maintain a regular gym routine. After a long workday, many people would rather relax at home with their families than grind through another grueling hour at a big box gym. What if there was a simple way to get the body you want without all that fuss?

North Andover’s All Care Laser Center, an aesthetic laser center for body sculpting, anti-aging, skin revitalization and more, has been helping New Englanders achieve ideal physiques with award-winning services and technology. Now, with their two newest services, EmSculpting and CoolSculpting, patients at All Care can easily and rapidly transform themselves inside and out.

EmSculpting is a noninvasive procedure that uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology to induce powerful muscle contractions in a way not achievable through regular exercise. Used for abdominal muscles, thighs, butts and arms, the EmSculpt treatment remodels the structure of the inner muscle and results in additional building and toning.

“In a 30-minute treatment, the EmSculpt does the equivalent of 20,000 crunches or 20,000 squats,” says Lisa Ricciardelli, clinical director and laser specialist of All Care Laser Center.

CoolSculpting, also a noninvasive procedure, uses cryolipolysis, a method of removing fat with freezing temperatures. Cryolipolysis targets and destroys localized fat cells. The body naturally eliminates the frozen, dead cells, resulting in a permanent fat reduction of 18-23% per session. Stubborn fat is a frequent problem even for those who eat right and exercise regularly, which is why CoolSculpting is so popular among celebrities and the Hollywood elite.

Ricciardelli notes that CoolSculpting has been used for years but is just now starting to gain traction on the East Coast.

“We New Englanders tend to wait until technology has been around for a while,” says Ricciardelli. “Both EmSculpting and CoolSculpting have been used for years and proven their effectiveness, but people are just now starting to hear about it.”

Before and after: (Left) Before patient had EmSculpt and CoolSculpt services. (Right) Eight weeks after of one round of Coolsculpting and two weeks after four treatments of EmSculpt.

In fact, All Care Laser Center has been providing CoolSculpting services for over five years and were one of the first regional providers to offer such treatments.

As the popularity of the procedure grows, many are choosing CoolSculpting over more invasive fat-loss options.

“The difference between the CoolSculpt and liposuction is that liposuction eliminates 100% of fat cells in a given area, and that’s never a good thing,” says Ricciardelli.

Ricciardelli says that once the fat cells are removed from a particular area of the body, stored fat can no longer return to the same area. This means that fat will be distributed throughout the rest of the body, giving the patient an unproportioned appearance.

“We’ve seen a lot of people who are trying to get treated for liposuction they had done earlier,” says Ricciardelli. She notes that a gradual process of fat loss is always preferred over a complete elimination of fat cells. This way, patients avoid the nasty post-procedure issues sometimes seen with other treatments. “CoolSculpting has become the number one choice for body contorting, and it is completely replacing liposuction for that reason,” says Ricciardelli.

Unlike liposuction, both CoolSculpt and EmSculpt involve a gentle recovery. Treatments are pain-free and results can be maintained with proper diet and moderate physical activity.

Even if you’re a fitness buff, Ricciardelli says All Care Laser Center’s EmSculpt treatments will help you meet your goals. And if you’re looking to reduce some of the stubborn fat that even die-hard gym rats struggle to burn, give them a call to see if CoolSculpt is right for you.
