ONE: Hilarious British buddy-cop comedy “Hot Fuzz,” with the winning duo of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost at the helm, will be the latest movie shown as part of Haverhill’s Popcorn Roulette series. Catch the funny flick this Friday at 6:30 p.m. at HC Media’s Studio 101.
TWO: The next installment in the North Shore Photography Series, “Ansel Adams — Environmentalist and Photographer,” by former Northern Essex Community College photography and design professor Lance Hidy, will be held at the Firehouse Center for the Arts on Thursday at 7 p.m.
THREE: This Friday from 5 to 7 p.m., Andover Classic Wines will be hosting both a Crook & Marker Spiked Sparkling Beverage Tasting and a Blue Chair Bay Rum Tasting. Head over and find a new favorite to sip this weekend!
FOUR: On Friday at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, doors will open at 6 p.m. for country singer-songwriter Justin Moore, whose show will formally begin at 8 p.m. Moore is known for songs including “Small Town USA,” “You Look Like I Need a Drink” and “Point at You.”
FIVE: You don’t need to be a Satanist (or even know one!) to enjoy the quirky documentary “Hail Satan?”, about The Satanic Temple founded in Salem, Mass., which will be showing at The Luna Theater on Saturday at 2:05 p.m.
SIX: Jonatha Brooke has been writing songs, making records and touring since the early ’90s. After four major label releases, she started her own independent label – Bad Dog Records, in 1999 – and has since released eight more albums. See her live at Tupelo Music Hall at 8 p.m. this Saturday.
SEVEN: Grammy Award-nominated reggae artist Etana will celebrate her prestigious nomination for Best Reggae Album, “Reggae Forever,” with a 2019 tour that includes SurfSide on Salisbury Beach. Catch the show on Sunday at 5 p.m.
EIGHT: Every Sunday at the Copper Door Restaurant in Bedford, N.H., it’s Sangria Sunday with live music. This weekend, musician Jodee Frawlee will be providing the tunes from 5 to 8 p.m.
