A&E Highlight – Lucky Stiff: A Drop Dead Funny Musical Comedy

Lucky Stiff: A Drop Dead Funny Musical Comedy
Rogers Center for the Arts
April 4 – 6
In the Rogers Center for the Arts’ “Lucky Stiff,” an unassuming shoe salesman is forced to take the embalmed body of his recently murdered uncle on vacation to Monte Carlo. If he succeeds in passing his uncle off as alive, he stands to inherit $6,000,000! If he can’t, however, the money goes to a home for dogs in Brooklyn, or his dead uncle’s gun-toting ex!
Based on the novel “The Man Who Broke the Bank at Monte Carlo,” by Michael Butterworth, this hilarious, offbeat musical murder mystery was written by the Tony Award-winning team of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (the minds behind “Ragtime,” “Once on This Island” and “Seussical”).
