It’s that time of year again. The Lowell Summer Music Series is kicking off this June with a powerhouse list of musical talents, with Fitz & the Tantrums being perhaps the most modern and pop-influenced entry of the early acts. Known for toe-tapping earworm radio hits like “The Walker,” “Out of My League” and “HandClap,” the neo-soul group is also easily identified by their neon stage lighting and energetic audience engagement during live shows.

The band’s popular 2013 effort, “More Than Just a Dream,” has been streamed over 76 million times. Their show as part of the Lowell Summer Music Series is part of their ongoing tours centered on the self-titled follow-up to that album.
