A&E Highlights: Lisa Lampanelli
Palace Theatre | March 11
Insult comic Lisa Lampanelli’s rise to the top of the comedy food chain began in 2002 when she was the only female comedian invited to skewer Chevy Chase on the New York Friars Club Comedy Central Roast. She soon became known as the “Queen of the Roasts,” going on to lambaste such big names as Pamela Anderson, Jeff Foxworthy, William Shatner, Flavor Flav and David Hasselhoff. She made a further name for herself as a competitor on the fifth season of NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice,” where she advanced to the final four in the competition and raised $130,000 for her charity.
Lampanelli is bringing her show to the Granite State for one night only at the Palace Theatre, where you can bet her biting brand of humor will continue to find celebrity targets from politicians to entertainers and beyond.
