Megan House announced today that tickets are now available online for its Where Dreams Come Home raffle. The grand prize is a brand new home and tickets are $100. Only 5000 will be sold.
Executive Director Deb Belanger says of the raffle, “The whole project is to raise awareness of the opioid epidemic and for Megan House.” Tickets are available on their website. A limited quantity will be on sale at local events, but these are expected to sell out quickly, so Belanger recommends purchasing them online.
The grand prize colonial house is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood in Dracut, Mass. and features three bedrooms, hardwood floors on the main level, a granite and stainless steel kitchen and a master suite with tiled shower. The prize includes an 8 by 10 shed provided by Reeds Ferry Lumber.
Second prize is a seven night trip to Costa Rica. Other prizes include a Roomba 980 donated by iRobot and a detailed custom dollhouse created by Judy Biggs Miniatures and painted in Megan’s favorite color. Megan Grover’s 2014 death from a heroin overdose inspired her father to open the residential substance abuse treatment facility for women aged 18 to 26. Megan House was profiled in the September/October 2016 issue of mvm.
The prize drawing will take place June 21 at the Four Oaks Country Club.
