TWO: If you’ve had a rough week, consider engaging your sense of humor at the Palace Theatre’s Silver Stars: Comedy Tonight. Friday’s cabaret-style show will bring the laughs with jokes, comedic songs, skits, dancing and more.
THREE: From “Love Shack” to “Rock Lobster,” the B-52s have been the voice of parties since their inception in 1976. On Saturday, they’ll be playing at Boarding House Park to help close out the Lowell Summer Music Series 2016.

SIX: Falling in line with many of this weekend’s farewell to summer events, Wine ConneXtion will be holding a “Putting the Cork on Summer” tasting on Saturday. SEVEN: Studio 550 will be hosting a Family Pottery Workshop on Saturday. Bring the kids and take this hands-on course to learn how to throw on the pottery wheel. Because class time is finite, there is a limit of one child to one parent for the workshop.
EIGHT: After a long week of work, there’s often no better way to relax than sitting down to a nice meal with friends or family. 50 Warren Lounge at the UMass Lowell Inn & Conference Center is changing their menu and hours as of Saturday if you’d like to check out their new offerings.
