On June 26th, a dedication ceremony was held at the RARA at Harkins House in Lowell. The name of the building was changed from ’RARA Center’ to ‘RARA at Harkins’ House’, in honor of the late Mr. Kenneth Harkins and his dedication to the  Agency. Ken became involved with RARA ( Remarkable, Active, Resilient Adults ) through its founders, Kay and Leo Perrault. Through Ken’s many contacts and volunteers, RARA was able to turn a run down, dilapidated building into a wonderful venue for RARA activities. It was a beautiful sunny day and the event was well attended by local residents, clergy and community leaders. For more information on RARA, please visit www.raraagency.org.
