Merrimack Valley Magazine, the award-winning regional lifestyle magazine, is expanding its sales team. Join an innovative media company as we take our brand into new editorial and geographic areas; digital media including web, smart phone and tablet, while continuing to grow our print media product.
We need energetic and dedicated individuals who possess the following characteristics:
- Love talking to and meeting new people
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and possess the ability to use online sales management software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation
- Outside sales experience, preferably in advertising, with a track record of developing new business is a plus, but not required.
- BA/BS is preferred
- Prospect, develop, close and maintain sales to area businesses in person and via telephone and email. Leads are provided, cold calls are also expected
- Work with clients to develop and maintain effective advertising campaigns both in print and online
- Hit revenue goals each issue
